Hey looking to sound deaden my interior. Not wanting to shell out the big bucks for dynomat (im poor). So i;ve been doing some research on cheaper product, mainly asphalt based roof repair products. Like peel n seal, or blue skin...anyone have success stories, or recommendations for me. Thanks

RaaMat...end of story...best bang for the buck and is what I am going to be using...if it ever gets installed...also make sure to get a few yards of ensolite and some of the adhessive off of the site...

It is very reasonably priced and shipping is the EXACT shipping cost for the product...

i've heard that Raamat and elemental designs "eDead" are good. My friend bought some eDead and we did it ourselves and it sounded much better

The asphalt based products are cheap, but not the greatest......why do you think Dynamat re-engineered their original asphalt based Dynamat to the butel based Dynamat Extreme? All I can say is you do it cheap you do it twice. Time has taught me that.... You will probably encounter some problems with adhesion and as mentioned above smell. Also, the asphalt based products are less effective than the butel, which in turn means more weight to get the same effect. Have fun.

Raamat to do my entire car was $194...this was for 60 sq ft...four yards of ensolite...2 cans of spray adhessive...shipping...

It compares VERY closely to Dynamat...read up on any of the car audio forums and it is highly recomended over Dynamat and other more expensive alternatives...
