check engine light on intake installation??

on my 99 civic ex i just installed a aem short ram intake and once i started the car the check engine light went on so i took it for a test drive and the lights still on.. what could of caused this .. feedback asap thanks

i had this happen to my car. i just had a friend reset my ecu and it went away

so i can go to like autozone and they can clear it

Jump the service connector to pull the code. My guess would be that you forgot to reconnect the IAT sensor.

Pull the 7.5A hood Back Up fuse for a few minutes to clear the ECU.

which fuse is that im kinda a newbe the one near the hood release or the other fuse box next to the battery

Just disconnect your battery for 10-15 minutes.
