I bought a ugly little civic last week every panel has at least one dent but it runs amazing and there is not a rattle in the thing. The driver side window doesn't like to go up when put down all the way but I'll try to figure that out this week. I am so impressed with this little car and plan to get her looking and performing better than new.

Suspension and interior updates will come first. I'm doing this on an ultra budget. The car cost me 1900$ I really want to see how far I can take this car on a 2000$ part budget. I need door skins and sun roof sliding thing is ripped and the dash needs replace it has glue all over it. Any advice would be awesome! Pics to come. Just gotta wash it then put rims on. But yeah new project. Hopefully lookin awesome by summer.

This is the tech section...what is your tech question again? I don't understand what you want advice on.

Posts some pictures of it inside & put so we can make educated suggestions. If its not badly banged up, a $2000 parts budget should be good enough.

The driver's side window issue may be that the glass is pinching on the front guide rail. It is my experience that the front guide rail causes more issues than the rear, but check them both. If your panels are off, run you finger up & down the guide rail and you'll feel the pinched rubber if that's the issue. Remove the glass then loosen the lower guide rail bolt and you'll be able to easily ensure the rubber is sitting properly. Clean out the rubber with some q-tips and alcohol. Lube the inside of the rubber channel with light grease then reinstall the glass & it should run fine.

Thanks HeX as soon as I can find two used grey panels to replace the ones I have I will check that. I would like to Add noise reduction insulation and speakers along with fixing the window. Hopefully next weekend I'll get photos up. Thanks for the warm both of your welcomes to the nube...
