The D17's ecu is not chippable (atleast not through traditional methods) You are pretty much stuck running a piggyback setup or K Pro for the D17.

You can either piggy-back with Kpro like stated above, or get a standalone ECU such as AEM's. Theres really no other alternative to SOHC 7th gens.

Just to clarify for the OP, the Kpro isn't a piggy back. Its hardware that is added to a K series ECU that is programmable through Hondata's K manager software. It isnt cheap though...
