Why is it that the car chirp easy when you first get it then later on it gets harder to chirp when shifting gear?

Is it because of the clutch? I have an Si and the car chirp easy from 1st-2nd, and 2nd-3rd. But not anymore after I had it for a while. It only chirp 1st-2nd and sometimes 2nd-3rd. Is it that I need a new clutch?

dude stop making these bullshit useless threads. first learn how to drive your car. second, if you have problems do some research. third work on your grammer so people can understand you. fourth if your that discusted with your car, buy a different one and sell me your motor and trans if you think its that slow. as for anyone who wants to hate on me. read all of his other posts before doing so. thanks

put your face right by the wheel when you shift into 4th. specifically right in front of it.

So in other words, you're INTENTIONALLY trying to abuse your car? Wow.

IIRC. Chirping happens when there is a big amount of torque being transfered. That's why it happens when you shift gears from 1st to 2nd. Chirping usually happens less on higher gears. Chirping also happens more often if your tires suck.
