Hi,
The cigarette lighter socket isn't working on my 08 Honda Civic, I've checked the fuse I think it is linked to (number 35, stereo and accessories under the steering wheel, 7.5 amps). I have also changed the lighter socket and it still doesn't work!
Am I missing some thing or doing some thing wrong???

Please help.

This might sound stupid but did u mak sure the wire on the lighter socket is actually hooked up inside the center console?

Was going to suggest the same thing. Could have easily come unplugged.

Yeah I checked the connection on the old socket before I bought the new socket, and there was still no power. I tested the satnav addaptor on he 12v port in the boot and it works fine.
It seems like its going to be trip to a auto electrician!

You probably just need to replace the 12V socket itself. Sometimes the element inside just goes bad, without any evidence of failure on the fuse. Happened to my EJ a few years ago.
