Civic AC/rpm issue

So I have a 95 civic with a z6 and I have a problem with my idle when the AC is turned on. When the AC is off my car runs fine. When I turn the AC on it runs decent while moving but when I come to a stop it barely wants to start moving again. Sometimes when I hit the gas the RPM's go down to zero and finally come up so I can accelerate forward. My question is why is this happening? It never does this with the AC off. Any suggestions?

a/c puts a load on the motor. altho is load is small at idle. computers is what tells the motor whats up when you hit the a/c is should fix that. in your case i guess there is something wrong. what computer do you have? chipped?
