Civic cassette player space

In today's day and age, we all have our cool little gadgets (ipods, iphones, androids) And the cassette player in my '97 civic coupe is no longer useful! Been pondering the idea in my head the past week about possibly making/ordering (if one is even made) a little plasic cubby to put in place of the cassette player, I think it would be a cool little mod to do for fun while increasing storage space.

If anybody has any ideas on what they would do, or what they have done with that little space, comments are welcome!

There is an insert for the 96-98 cupholder that is just a pocket or the 99-00 cupholder has an even bigger opening there. Just search civic cupholder on eBay and you'll see a few different styles.

Otherwise there are CD players, and free boxes. I have a free box for sale if you want that just pm me and I can get you info on it. Otherwise any single din head unit will fit there as well. That's where I put my head unit

Isnt the casset player up top? Yes you can go to a junk yard and find a cubby to replace the disk drive down low, i think they are like 8$ at pick and pull. Dont get a 99-00 cup holder they suck, ones to small and the other is barely big enough
