I just wanted to know if anyone here would be interested in Me building a replica of your car.

The kits available are:
Revell 1/25 Honda Civic Hatchback (96-00). $50 built box-stock (w/o any mods) and shipped

Here's a few of the one I recently built. Its the model from above. You can see I made the front bumper grill 'see-thru' like the real thing and drilled the fog lights out and inserted a 3mm yellow LED and they work. Painted the Type R headlights instead of leaving them chrome.

And the engine bay was gutted out cause a buncha s**t comes already molded and in real life its not like that. Eventually I built an Optima yellow top, brake fluid reservoir, etc....

Anything can be done, even lower the ride height.

Here's what a box-stock engine bay looks like. IDK who built it but it looks tacky.

Here's the engine from that same hatch. Its not done yet. (Broken needle preventing me from painting)

Dizzy and wires (made from thin metal wire so as to keep their shape)

Revell 1/25 Honda Civic Si (96-00). $50 built box-stock and shipped

Revell 1/25 Hnoda Civic Coupe (93). $60 built box-stock and shipped

Revell 1/25 Acura Integra Type R. $60 built box-stock and shipped

Revell 1/25 Acura RSX Type S. $70 built box-stock and shipped

Fujimi 1/24 Honda Del Sol. $75 built box-stock and shipped

I forgot the brand... pointless to show you this cause its very hard to find, and thus, expensive. In 1/24 scale

Hasegawa 1/24 EG SIR-II. $80 built box-stock and shipped

Fujimi 1/24 Honda Civic Type R Hatchback. $80 built box-stock and shipped

Fujimi 1/24 Honda Civic Type R Hatchback. $80 built box-stock and shipped

Fujimi 1/24 Honda Civic Type R 'the shoe'. $80 built box-stock and shipped

For a factory color (milano red, nighthawk black, etc) add $5

Carbon fiber details and/or other modifications you may want are available, just ask (and be specific about what and how you want it.... in a pm of course). I can add 'fabric' like the carpet, the seats, multi colored interior (box-stock or how you want it). Lower ride height. Tint windows.

Oh, and keep in mind, even thou some of the boxes picture a RICED OUT civic, they all come with that extra body kit (the one pictured of course) and also come with the OEM parts.

Let me know.... well, at least enjoy the pics.

Oh, I forgot to add the CRXs but those are expensive for what they are.... If any one wants something I bet its gonna be one of the Revell 1/25 kits cause those cost less and thus I charge less.

Btw, to you all, if you have a kit I can build it but I rather it be a Honda kit or any 1/12 scale (my fav scale to build but its so f**kin expensive, s**t even a scale hobby of cars is expensive). Or you can buy it and send it to me then I send it back to you but that's more shipping cost we both will have to pay for...... I'm going for a drive just because!

got traction, YES I CAN. lol. It'd be hard to think about how to build it and w/o a bumper it just makes things easier. The tire would be a problem (and all problems cost money) cause I'd have to find something that would fit and rotate plus I'd have to roll the fenders, meaning I'd have to sand the inside of the fender alot and leave it really thing so the tires clear... but possible nonetheless. OK, drive time!

I also have the 'H' and 'Honda' logos and a few VTEC logos made of real, really thin chrome metal... specifically for this. They're called Photoetched parts and I also have real working hood pins. I'm yet to make the doors open and add hinges to the hood.

damn that's some skill. I thought I was good cause I could do some nice paint work on my models.
I've gotta give it to you, you've really got a skill there.
If I had the cash i'd totally have you do my eg, but not enough cash. ( I did the same thing with my 66 mustang, made it the same color and actually used the color I painted my car and sprayed it with the same gun)
just had to say, that's really awesome

J_U, thanks... ive been building since 13.

Mpared, the 1st two kits (EKs) are the ones that are more readily available and cheaper. Your local hobby store might have'em, if not.... ebay

AllStock, if you never built one, build it box-stock. That way you can gain experience and later attemp to make the grill (upper one and lower one) like I did (a few hours of sanding it from the inside, its really hard to cut out each little rectangle so sanding and making it paper thin is the only way... ok not paper thin but 1mm thick at most) and the radiator support... not to mantion gutting the engine bay (which by gutting it, you'll actually end with a model that the body/cowl does NOT come off so all interior work has to be done 1st...)

Those first two Revell kits are the cheapest of the list (about $20-$27) so those are the ones I usually build... Soon I'll make my own car replica (EJ8) and my boys' new Del Sol (once its done, I actually have to go to the body shop where his car is and see if I can get about 2 ounces of that Lexus pearl color that his car is getting painted with).
