civic si tail light signal bulb color?

hey all, I'm swapping out my OEM red/white/amber tail lights and putting red/clear lights in. what color is the signal light for SI's? do they blink white or orange? i'm just prepping the bulbs so if needed i'll get amber tail light bulbs. thanks!


and what bulb type is the signal bulb in the tail lights?

oem color is orange i believe..but white is nice

signals are the same as front 1157

They're amber. Not a fan of white but it doesn't look HORRIBLE.

Bulb is 1157A (A = amber).

thanks guys! do u kno of any companies that hav brighter amber bulbs? or better yet darker shining amber bulbs? cause i went to my local car shop and they had GE 1157A's. I got those for my front signals. they shine nice at night but during the day i feel like they dont shine bright enough to be easily noticeable

or do u believe even silverstar or sylvania bulbs shine the same amount? I initially wanted either of those 2 brans but the store had all GE!!!!!

The GE 1157 amber bulbs will be fine, especially with a clear lens.

If you have an amber lens or diffuser, clear bulbs work best.

Try searching on Google. I tried searching for brighter bulbs for my back end and wasn't having much luck. Someone recommended me this Raybrig bulb but I couldn't find it.

And it's normal for lights to appear dimmer in day light so don't worry about it.

NA(natural amber) bulbs are more amber color than the A(amber bulbs)
when i first installed my white turn signal bulbs and switched lanes to the left, the light would be so bright i thought another car was coming up

your car has prolly been wrecked most civics have, and some parts dont fit like they use to,

wanna know what a body shop would do? ok ill tell you, hit the place where the tail lights mount on the car with a rubber mallet till it fits flush.
