Hey people.

I've just bought some seats out of a civic type R and need to remove the subframes as the seats are going into an older civic, and i will be using the existing subframes.

I cant figure out how to remove them though!! Can anyone give me any advice or give me a link to a how to????

Cheers.

just swap over the rails... I just put delSol seats in my EK and had to do the same.... you will need to remove one of the studs on the rail( the mid one) or drill a hole for it .. I would take pics but i dont have a decent cam.... you will also have to remove the part that holds the seat belt and acts like a hinge for the seat ... if you need parts let me know...

cheers mate, but would the rails from the EG fit the type R seats, or would i have to fabricate a metal plate?

well I think the del sol is an EG and I think the type R seats you have are out of an EK ... if that is the case then they will swap over. no fabrication of any kind
