CL & the hatch...(56K...watch yo back lol)

Lol...well since i screwed up and posted the pics of the hatch in the ROTM room and im still a noob, ill just go right ahead in here and do it again, and this time...i made sure i followed the rules, lol.

Anyways...2001 Acura CL Type-S w/ some BBS something or other alloys and an Injen CAI and my wife's hatch (which is for sale mind you) which is a 2000 EJ6 civic hatchie w/ a mod list that is fairly large and i dont feel like typing it so if you want it, ill send ya the link. Anyways...onto the cars.

lol...me too, at that show the judges put those in there, we werent even near the car when they did it too so i was kinda confused, and being the smart ass i am, when the judge came around to the car, i asked the guy "Hey, just curious if its ok to touch my system now...i know you guys like police taped it off with those signs and all...i didnt want to get arrested or anything..." Guy just kinda looked at me and walked away...we actually stuck those signs in the grill of the mustang that the judge was driving that was near the main tent...just walked by and shoved them in there. Kinda like a "Thanks for getting into my s**t when i wasnt around, i appreciate it. If i wanted people to keep their hands off, i would have put them in there myself..."

I bet its quick too...honestly though, im perfectly happy with my CL's power. The comptech supercharger is $2,000+ used and the yields it gives while still reamining reliable for street and daily driving use just do nothing for me, i cant justify the cost when i got a good amount of HP/torque to begin with, plenty enough to roast most hondas out there, and enough to run pretty much door to door with most swapped civics...so im happy with it.

That and more than likely by the end of the year it will be traded for a G35 coupe or possibly an STi...leaning more towards the infinity if i decide to sell it simple because of the creature comforts, i dont think i could do without HID's, navi and climate control...not to mention a decent stereo stock.

But deffinately love the CL, its an awesome mix of luxery and sport. I particularly love the faces of the people who come up to lights reving and dont expect a luxery car to put a hurting on them...mustang GT's are especialyl sweet prey.

yea i know wht you mean and yeah you can keep up with most swaps im just a horsepower freak and seen as i got the car as a gift so i had some extra money supercharge. any other plans like stereo or a nie exhaust

Cheap exel TZ5's...lol, but everyone seems to like them alot on there, so i have no complaints, especially after having quite an expensive set of racing harts on it before and them getting curb rashed to hell before we ended up selling them, rims to me just aint worth spending tons of cash on...those were cheap, look nice and are easy to clean...so we were happy with them.

As far as the system goes in the CL...i have the TVNAV module in my garage right now, probobly put that in sometime this weekend (turns the DVD navigation system into a DVD player as well...which is nice on trips)...also have an Alpine Type-R sitting in the box (10") and i just gotta get some MDF and get a little enclosure built and carpeted and im good to go...nothing too fancy, just something to add some bass and be able to watch movies...my quading days were over a long time ago, i enjoy building the systems (like my wife's hatch) but im just not into migrain causing bass anymore.
