cleaning out turbo

ok so i finally pulled the turbo and mani off so i can replace my cracked mani and i realized that my turbo had sucked in some exhaust and is now black and full of sut on the inside of the inlet. can i spray out my turbo with carb cleaner or engine degreaser without having to worry bout messing up my turbo.

You can remove the compressor housing from the turbo and clean it w/ brakleen

You can do the same on them, brakleen and a lent free cloth.
