I just painted 1 of the pieces that I plan on painting for the interior of my car. I am wondering if it is safe to use the armor all cleaning wipes on the painted pieces? (not immediately, but like a few days later or so) i used dupli-color paint. Thanks.

Thanks, I'm waiting for the paint to dry so I can reinstall the piece. I think it looks great, and when it is installed I will post some before and after pictures.

Make sure those pieces have cured before using any kind of chemical to clean them.

you're supossed to treat painted surfaces the same way you would treat the exterior of your car. wash with car wash, not armor all.

think about it... would you use armor all to clean your exterior paint? same principals apply... paint is paint.

silver-shooter has a good point ... i would use water and light soap ... also the exterior of your car most likely has some layers of clear coat, as for the parts that you have painted, they have no clear or wetsanding so if you use a strong chemical it might rub off.

armorall is not going to make that paint wear off

if you really are scared that it may affect it try a little dab on an inconspicuous spot, but I am almost positive it will not damage the paint.

it won't

it might be better to use a light soap but who really cares, it's not like its all gonna fall off in a week
