ive recently purchased a double din dvd player for my lx but it want fit in my climate control panel. I was thinking i could swap it with a si one or one like that one which i think came in all 99-00 models will this fit and still work correctly?

You can make it fit, in some cases you may have to trip some of the plastic on the climate control. Also some of the metal framing may require trimming. More or less depends on the DD unit you will be using.
