Cluster help

Hey well I have a 1996 honda civic dx manual transmission, but my cluster doesn't work and I'm planning on buying a new one. My cluster doesn't have a rpm but I was wondering if I put a cluster with a rpm will it thesspeedometer and rpm gauge work

What exactly is wrong with your cluster? Yes you can throw an ex cluster in and make it work, I don't remember if you have to wire the tach or if the plug is just hanging behind the cluster ready to plug in.

They are just plug and play. I've ran dx, ex, el, crv clusters in my car.

yup i think its pretty much plug in play
