cluster needles

how to i take off hte needle with out breaking it off? is there a special tool for this?

you cant.. if you take them offf.. they are broken..

as anthony said, can't be done, while there is some people that say you can, you can't, they are very delicate adn can break easy though.

toms right.. silly people will tell you they did it and it worked out.. ALL LIES.. if you try it you will be on the phoen with tom shortly after ordering new parts for your cluster..:P

You can remove the needles without braking them, i done it when i fitted my Indiglo Dials. Here's a how too... When you remove the cluster and the clear plastic front so you can touch the needles this is what you have to do, first off get a fork (yes the one you eat with) lol then slip the middle of the fork between the needle and prise it up slowly and it should come off :D When refitting the needle you just push it back on but be carefull not to push it on to hard or it wont work properly. Jobs a good one :cool:

yea i went to the junkyard and broke 3 off. lol so i got another one and just took the gas/temp gauge and try it at home but i broke that one too. lol

yea i gotta go back to the yard monday to pull this bmw dash for my homeboy. im have a fork in my pocket lol
