Ok.. so I took my radio out today.. i plugged it back in, clock doesnt work, neither does radio. unplug it, clock works, but is reset. So i let my car warm up after work. My whole cluster goes black. Taillights shut off, license plate doesnt work anymore.. i put in another fuse, blew right away. It has to do with my power wire shorting out or something. can anyone help me out as to where to look n stuff.. thanks in advance..

When I put in my first Alpine I had the same problem, I taped off the dimmer wire but the tape was a little old and fell off. Touched the metal and my tail lights and cluster fuse popped. Just make sure all of you wires are not exposed , or touching any metal. Should be easy with the stereo out.
