clutch problems!! PLEASE HELP!!

hey guys i have a 95 coupe dx and when i press my clutch in to the floor then shift into gear when i release it disengauges 2 in from the floor. what is happening or, what do i ned to replace it to fix this s**t?

check the clutch cable...might be starting to seize

you should check your clutch fluid (brake fluid) when its low the clutch starts acting funny. my car did the same thing i put some more fluid in it and i had to pump the clutch alot and then everything was back to normal. but if you get to low on fluid you will have to fill it back up and then have someone to help you bleed the clutch

first an foremost, check your clutch pedal height. there is a way you can adjust this.

when its not pressed in there should be a little play in the pedal, if there is none, or too much, you need to adjust the threaded rod behind the clutch pedal
