Clutch question

So I drove my friends car the other day and when I let off of his clutch, it started pushing me forward before I even added gas (I always let off the clutch and start gassing when I hit the pressure point) and when I asked about it he informed me that all clutches are supposed to do that. It made sense, and I can't believe I never thought of it before, I feel stupid.

On my 1995 Civic, when I let off of the clutch, all it does is shake and die, it doesn't start propelling the car, and I have to rev up to about 1700 and then let off of the clutch to get the car to move, and it shakes when I do. It also shakes when I shift, and it's like I'm not gassing it properly before I let off of the clutch, but I'm not the only one who has this problem with it as everyone else who has driven the car has experienced it as well.

I just replaced the clutch, throwout bearing, master, and slave cylinder about two weeks ago due to a master cylinder leak and a worn out clutch, the only thing I didn't replace was the pilot bearing cause we couldn't get the flywheel off, and everyone who has driven and experienced the car since then has had the shaking problem.

1. Is there a way to get it to project me forward and not just shake and die when I start letting off of the clutch?

2. Is there a way to fix the shaking?

3. It also squeaks and clicks when I press it down and lift it back up, it did this with the worn clutch kit, and stopped for about the first week, and then came back is this a problem?

Any help and/or education about the operation of the systems would be wonderful!

I've got basic knowledge and am learning, but have a long way to go, and would love everyones input and advice so that I know what is going on.

Thank you in advance!
