hey guys i searched for this and didnt really find any helpful results, so i figured id just see what everyone is running for a clutch with their turbo and how much hp you guys were running with it, how the engagement felt, streetable, etc....thanks for any input

im running a centerforce pressure plate and "stock" clutch. i bought it as a kit from some online store, its a real centerforce pressure plate but my pedal is soft as hell. the reason why i say "stock" is cuz i didnt think a stock clutch could hold 225 ft/lbs of torque (what the clutch kit was rated to hold).

needless to say it grabs great, the only thing i dont like is the soft pedal and the engagement is right before you let out the clutch all the way.

ACT street lite flywheel( the 11lb one)
and ACT 6 puck SPRUNG clutch.
thats what ill be running when i reach 300whp

thanks for all the input anyone else? Oh and Green, i was looking at the street clutch from ACT which is only a 4 puck i believe, you think a 6 puck would be a little too much for daily driving? My buddy has a 300zxTT running about 390hp and hes just using that clutch and its worked out for him so far

ive been told a competition clutch is a good sturdy clutch.

old setup: Centerforce stg 2, about 200-210hp. held great, engagement was like stock. doubt it would hold any more power though

new setup: Competition Clutch stg4 6-puck sprung. engagement is pretty harsh, no slippage at all. i actually think that its stretching my clutch cable due to how stiff the PP is, lol. im only on low boost right now because im breaking in the motor, but i should hit 300 no problem

sprung disk will be better for the street, although unsprung is doable

theres also a dude selling a ACT stg3 clutch for 300 shipped. its new...he bought it and is now forced to sell al his stuff...think i should jump on it?
