Coil-overs vs. Struts vs. Coil-over Sleeves

It looks like this hasn't been brought up for a while. So I am looking into any help or advice from you all about the difference between coilovers, struts, and struts with coil over sleeves. I'm not out racing or anything like that, But I do like to play. I am looking into the best ride and comfort. Also I live in Colorado so there is snow involved most of the year, and mountain driving. Also if anyone knows anything about how they keep the roads here, you will know that they are crap... So any advice is going to be a big help.

Bet bang for the buck are koni yellows shocks with ground control sleeves. Custom spring rates for qhtever u want. Lifetime warranty on both hocks and the coilovers sleeves and great ride. They compare with some of the $1000 full coilovers kits out there. If u want something a bit cheaper progress cs2 coilovers are pod but you can't go super low with them. If u want something for slamming ur car I the ground a lot of people on here like function and forms

In my personal opinion nothing compares to a good set of coilovers for performance. I have a set of BuddyClub N+ spec coilovers and they are by far the best setup i have used to date. Iv had just about everything and i will never go back. Take my word for it just save up for a set of good coilovers and you will NOT be disappointed. They are well worth the wait. I would recommend either BuddyClubs or Teins ( however the hell its spelled lol) make sure to get fully adjustable dampening though. Otherwise its just a glorified strut and spring setup.
