Coilovers

I need coilovers for my car and I was wondering what are some good websites to get good deals on one. I tried eBay but all I found are generic ones that cost like $35-$60 and I don't wanna spend over a grand on a kit. What's the difference between generic and real coilovers? Thanks.

Which type do you have? Is the type 1 pretty much the same as the type 2?

No. I wouldn't recommend getting "Sleeves". I would recommend only full coilovers because if you were to buy sleeves, you would have to buy a good pair of shocks to match the higher spring rate of the sleeves. In the end, you will probably spend about $500-$600 on a sleeve and shock system that will most likely have mis-matched spring and shock rates.
