my 94 civic coupe is lowered 1 inch by getting them done the cheap way.. snipping the coils and inch. now I got a ruff ride and and rear body slamming on big bumps. kind of regret doing it.. its been on for few months.. what should I do to get a smoother ride and keeping the ride low?

the only way you will get a smooth ride with having your car lowered is to buy new lowering springs and some new shocks. You will never have a smooth ride by cutting your stock springs.

What should you do? Dont ever go ghetto again and go find yourself a good set of springs.

buy some lowering springs....

btw: what you did was very dangerous, because when you cut the springs it changes the spring rate.......your lucky you didnt bounce off a pot holl or a bump in the road.

ya, I learned my lesson on ghettoness, actually i picked up the car with its coils snipped. I bought the car cz i got an amazing price on it. I know what u mean about the bouncing off potholes, i nearly flew into the next lane going over a crazy bump, gona look into springs. What are the major pproblems im running into if I leave them on for another month or two.. low on cash. :???:

be very very careful when u drive around then. i wouldn't go very fast either. drive like a granny and you'll be decently safe.

Tokico HP's are basically shorter stock replacements. As far as I know, they are the cheapest way to safely lower your Civic.
