I Am Thinking About Puttin A Aem V2 Cold Intake In My Civic Si 99. But Someone Told Me That My Check Injen Light Will Be On All The Time.
So If Any One Knows About This Holla Back

it surely gets more air. and when you install it, just remove the negative battery terminal for one minute so the new air flow can be recognized and fuel delivery can be compensated. it really doesnt make that much of a difference, but its the safe way to go about it.

Why would your check engine light come on if you put that intake on? I've been wonderin' if that intake really works like they say it does. Whenever you put it on let me know how it turns out.

a generic intake from ebay will do the exact same thing, youre paying for a name and a KnN filter. which are like 50 bucks.

it's a import not a domestic, so leave the hooker to the street corner domestic trash, and a intake will not cause you to threw a code of any sort taht i've ever heard of.

f**k the V2 get a j's raceing or icebox intake they have prove to be the best. They blow aem out of the water. This actually should be here how does the air intake work its forced to be sucked in haha i dont know but v2 blows dont get it.

Get DC headers, they are really good in my opinion. All you really need is a catback exhaust. I think aem is a good brand but that's my opinion. Let me know how the v2 works if you decide to go with it.

First of all its header, not headers. Second there is only one DC header that is not s**t, i et you dont know which it is do you? If you get a DC header make sure its a JDM dc header all the other ones sucks.

I think DC is a good brand for headers. He was talkin' about putin' double exhaust on his car and i sayed all he needs is a good catbat system for the streets. I still think AEM is a good brand probably not the best but i still like AEM an DC sports. I think that the 4:2:1 or 4:1 are ok for street. JDM is good but not everyones style.

Jdm dc header isnt a style, the regular dc headers have a 2.1/4 collector the jdm dc header has a 2.5 collector and the pipeing is almost equal length makeing it an all around better header then the regular 4-2-1 or 4-1 dc header that will be holnd you back once you get cams.
