so the paint job of my 1991 Honda civic dx is like a candy red almost, the seats are gray, but the dash and inside of the doors is black, and i was wanting to put in a nice dark red carpet instead of the nasty gray one it has, it would be this color

would that be to much red since the outside of my car is red? i thought since the inside dash board and panels is all black, the dark red would look good, cause i like the color scheme of this car

obviously mine looks nothing like that, but i like the colors, and wanted to make mine similar, but do you think since the outside of my car is red it would be to much?

also all suggestions to helping me make this color scheme possible would be nice =)

Winner winner chicken dinner....

Anyway, I think he is talking about a "type R" red carpet. similar to this one.

Also, OP, post pics. it helps with visualizing your description.

Links don't work but it sounds like it would look good. It becomes overkill when people paint there vents and various interior panels but it doesn't sound like that's the direction you're going.

Red carpet isn't awful (think CTR) but it won't hide the dirt like a black one will. CTR also has red accents on various other parts (think door panel, some stitching). I vote no. And don't go painting your vents like a chump.
