Common Problems.

Hey guys I'm new to the site.

I'm thinking of buying a Civic soon and I just wanted some word as to what I should be looking at, say common problem areas when I go to check one out. I was thinking of getting a 5th maybe 6th generation Civic. I tried to search the 5th gen forum and couldn't find a thread with the common 5th gen Civic problems. Any help would be appreciated.

there isn't too many common problems with civics, the stock tires are s**t they barely last at all

Yeah gotta hate that salt. Where the 5th gens clear coated from the factory? or the 6th gens?

yes they were
