compensator arm adjustment

Hi everyone,

Did those nasty rear trailing arm bushings,(rent the ball joint press and the 7 ton jaw puller) upper lower control arm and compensator arm. (that youtube video of the RTA bushing made it look waaay easy) Everything is back together but the adjustment on the compensator arm doesnt align as it used to, so I guess my toe is messed up.

1. Will they fix this during alignment time? Does anyone know the process? I tried moving the RTA to change its location but am wondering if having it on stands and wheel off makes it tougher to move.

2. I may have pushed the RTA bushing too far in ( 1/8 to 1/4 of and inch). I am worried that when it comes to alignment, there wont be enough adjustment room, or things may bind.

Input would be great.

thanks!

thanks

I would suggest correcting the bushing placement before going to have an alignment.

thanks. Going to do Firestones lifetime for $75 or so deal. Going to check out the bushing again. I've been reading, looks like the bushing should sit flush with the outer upper/lower lip of the RTA. Yes?
