I have a 96 civic hatchback. Basically what I want to do is to convert everything to power. Make the interior look like a 99-00 honda civic si. Power window, power lock, and mirrors. Also wouild llike to add cruise control and sunroof and change the climate control to si. What would I have to do? I want it to be factory look. If anyone can help, let me know. Thank you.

What color interior do you currently have? If you already have the TypeK Dark Grey interior it would consist of mostly swapping out door panels and window actuators with power ones and replaced the climate control and stuff. If you interior is the lighter grey well then you're looking at a full interior swap, such as dash, center console, etc...

the climate control swap is definitely NOT worth the time and effort. u need to rip everything apart and do a lot of s**t for a couple knobs.

everything else should be fairly easy. arm rest if u dont have one, seats, power accy's, gauge cluster. adding a sunroof would probably be a pain too. doesn't seem worth the extra effort to be more top heavy.

Why not just buy a 99-00 civic with the k interior color and power everything? It will save time and money.

ok my main concern is to add the sunroof, cruise control, power mirrors, and change the climate control. These are the options that i don't have. The rest I got it. Sorry. I really like ek hatch better than a coupe. I just like all the interior of the si and all the power options. How much do you guys think it'll cost if i would to take it to the shop? If you can give me some tips on how to install these i would appreciated to, to save money. Thank you. Here is a pic of the interior.

theres a how to for changing your climate control. its alot of work but if thats what you want go for it. it would be easier and alot less painfull to just buy a 99-00 hatch and start from there.

my aunt she convert sunroof on hers and my uncle did it also...it cost them a good $2,000.00
if you want to add the 99-00 civic climate control with trim...you would have to get the 99-00 civic harness for the wirings of the heating and the whole dash from a 99-00 and change all of yours (its like a swap).
if you want power doors. you would have to get the power doors from an ex or si and swap yours out....the whole power supplies inside of your doors. that will cost you so much...just get a 99-00 hatch and it shouldn't be so much money to spend...unless you got money

you dont need a whole new dash, just the climate control. heater, blower motor... etc. correct me if im wrong tho
to me the sunroof is over rated. last summer i only used it like 10 times. sure it looks cool but i dont find it all that use full. its one more thing to clean and have to go around while waxing.

the 96-98 is different from 99-00. do you know that? you will need the 99-00 civic harness, and a 99-00 civic dash.

you dont need a whole new dash. just the cc unit. i know theres a difference between the two

Conversion Requirements

1) 99+ Climate Control console with Climate harness (goes from console to heater core main plug)
2) 99+ Complete heater core Box
3) 99+ Complete Blower Box
4) 99+ Heater core harness (should be attached to the Heater core)
5) 99+ Center Dash vent (is contoured to position the vents to the right where the console has them)
6) Coolant.
