Converting PnP to Retrofit

Well I have the PnP kit from Retro-Solutions and I'm not satisfied. I should have listened to you guys and went with a retrofit instead. Lesson learned!!

What do I need now to go the retrofit route? Can I use what I have now with projector lenses, or do I need to change the bulbs? Can I still use the ballasts and wiring?

There is a retro fit DIYwrite up in here somewhere. I was wondering what made you dislike your pnp kit.

Mostly the beam pattern, and so far my inability to adjust them... I've turned those gears forever and it doesn't seem to do anything. I haven't been flashed or anything, but I like the look of projectors more.. it's more of an even spread of light.

I've done a ton of reading since I first posted this thread. It looks like I'll need D2S to AMP converters ($15 on eBay) . I can still use the ballasts.

Then I think I'm going to get the FX35 projectors, since they're bi-xenons. Then I'll have to get some 50W D2S bulbs to go with it.

I might get new headlights to mod. The ones I have don't seem to be adjustable, and one of them had a broken mounting bracket.
