well had to swap a new ls into my car and now the fan wont kick on and the thermostat doesnt seem to be opening, ive tried bleeding the air out of the system but its not working either. when i jump the fan switch the fan works but wont kick on when its plugged up. i swapped it out with a known good switch and still nothing. also swapped out the thermostat for the one out of my old ls that was working and now it wont open either. guess il have to buy a brand new t stat but the fan issue i cant figure out. maybe the relay?

the fan wont run till the switch is at operating temp and its on the side of the thermostat where the coolant needs to come out so there for its not going to come on till the thermostat opens
just get a new one there not but 10-15 $
and test it before you install it
there is a how to on testing it i will try and find it ..or maybe ronj will chime in he will have it handy
but all it is i hang it in a pan of water with a thermometer and see when it opens .

i bought a new one just gotta put it in now. hopefully this fixes it
new thermostat fixed it.

hey hardcore, i dont know if you remember me or not but i baught the b16 block off ur brother a few years back well i got another project i got a civic with gsr motor..about to do a rebuild can i get your numberfor some advice... ill pm also thanks bud... i made a post so look for it for my probs
