Cordless impact?

I am looking for a cordless impact to change my tires at the track. I brought the hitachi 18 volt combo with the drill and impact for $200 but when I tried to get the lugs off, they would not budge. They are only tightened to 80 ft/lbs. I have already returned the kit and I am looking for advice as to which cordless impact will get my tires off with ease, and have enough charge to change 4 tires 2 or 3 times on one charge. I am also not looking to spend an arm and a leg. Thanks guys.

snap on makes a 18v 1/2 impact thats pretty bad ass, mine will take off lugs that are tightned with a air gun

why not pay someone $5 to pull your lugs off and put them on for you at the track. you can get 40 track days worth of work with $200

^^^ what track do you go to? It's like $200 for a day up here.

Theres tons of guys that have these when I go rallyXing. And I always ask to barrow theirs. So Ive never bought. The snap on suggested above is badass.

I know the snap on ones are bad ass, but i'm not looking to spend $400-$600 on an impact wrench. I race auto x at many different places including CMP and the michiline test track.

That makita has the same torque specs as the hitachi I just returned so i doubt it will do the job.

Dewalt is awesome! I have a no name Brand I picked up Pep Boys when I worked there part time for like 30 bucks... Havent had the chance to use it but seems good, and for the price may be worth it... ?? And it was a 1/2 drive 18V as well..

I decided to go with the DeWalt, I borrowed one for the day and love it. I can't wait to get my own. It is alot heavier than the hitachi and stuff, but not much heavier than my mac air impact. And of course, nicer than having to do it by hand at the track.
