do you know the o-60mph of the civic 1.5 LSi coupe (1995). i have looked so many times on the net and can't find them anywhere. im not sure which civic to get at the moment. i want something with good acceleration, is the LSi the fastest coupe. i always thought the 5th generation civics were faster than the newer ones. is this correct? thanks, i would appreciate it if someone who knew a bit more about it than me could help me.

the best 0-60 times of a usdm 5th gens are gonna be from the si...which is a hatchback with the d16z6 vtec engine. I dont know where cardiff is...europe? but the specs are all different over there. But i believe everywhere but japan you could only get 5th gens with a single over head cam...and the d16z6 was the biggest and had intake vtec. In america you can get an ex sedan or coupe or an si hatch with that engine and obviously the hatch will be the lightest...As for the 5th gens being the fastest, maybe you have heard they are the lightest...which still isnt necessarily true because ive heard you can strip out and 6th gen hatch and it will weigh about the same as a 5th gen. But honestly 5th gens are the way to go, because they are plentiful, easy to come by, have a huge aftermarket thats easy on the wallet and they have wishbone suspension so they are quite agile.
thanks man. cardiff is in UK in Europe yeah. 5th gen look the best anyway. its just the coupe 1.5 LSi is insurance group 14 over here which is higher than all the hatchbacks apart from the 1.6VTi and it has a VTEC engine. thanks anyway but i still cant find any performance data for this model!
