crower stage 3 cams?

K I'm planing on puting crower stage 3 cams in my ls powered eg and I was wondering if I should use the h22 valve springs with b16 inner springs for my valve train or shoul I buy aftermarket ones if so from which company. Thanks

stage 3 cams require matched valve springs, signficant head work, much higher compression, etc. unles you have a fully built motor with those specific cams in mind you will hurt power and driveability, and smog will be a joke.

buy matching valve springs from crower. Arent stage 3 crower cams power band start from around the 6k and up range?

Get the stage 2 kit if you only have a stock head and no ecu.

You need to get the spring and retainer kit.

Youll also be lumping around the 1200 rpm range with stage 3's.

get at most a stage 1 with stock head. stage 2 is made for a modified head.

Yeah I already have the cams and I'm doing head work next moth I'll probably buy beter valve springs I'm also reprograming my ecu soon. But I don't wory bout smog I can get around that
