cruise control non-functioning

hey guys, im having a problem with my cc, when i hit the button to turn it on, and then set it, the light comes on, but cc won't engage. has anyone else dealt with this before?

I have the same problem wit mine, what I noticed in my civic is that you hear the fuse go on (like the wipers every time they activate), but it doesn't when the cruise is turned on.... light says it is, car just doesn't, check the fuse, it might be blown. Hope this helps
