hey, i have a 1991 crx hf, and i want to swap in a zc that i can get cheap. but its locked up and im wondering if its worth all the trouble or if i should just start savin my pennies for a b or k series. also what would i need to do the full swap if i decide to go with the zc? im told that the tranny will bolt on and i will need new mounts but what else is there?

You can do almost anything you want to any motor you like, it all comes down to $$$. There's no "best" way. Lots of people here are in love with the DOHC and will swear by the b, but 300whp is plenty for most on the street and that can be done easily with a snail and a d-series.

its a straight forward swap, jus need ur stock mounts off the hf, convert it to mult-ipoint and thats it! any d-series tranny will bolt up!
