I need a new hood for my hatch and the only one ive found so far has been 90 miles away.someone told me the hood im suppose to get off a crx will not fit on the hatch. this didnt sound right is this true?

I have a CF hood on my EF that was originally on a 90 CRX. there IS a slight gap in the passanger fender to the hood, but im sure with some fine tuning itll fit perfect.
