CRX nitrous bottle location

So my plan for today was to drop my gas tak to mount my nitrous bottle, but i ran into 2 problems. 1. Its raining like a b***h here, and 2. the bottle brackets I ordered were bent, so i have to wait on some new ones. Well in my spare time I was trying to think of locations to mount my bottle. The location I have planned is just over the gas tank where the bottle opener woul just poke up between the front 2 seats. It looks bad ass. But I was thinking there might be a better spot for it and i am coming here to CC to help out. So any sugestions or pics that could help would be nice.

can you post a picture of where you are thinking of mounting it? because i cant imagine why you would have to drop the gas tank... you may also HAVE to put it in the trunk area? most race track demand that it be seperated from the pasenger compartment by a "firewall" that is a very loose term.. but i think they are least want SOMETHING seperating it.. also you will need to run a blow down tube to be legal at MOST tracks..

I will try nd get a pic when it stops raining, but I dont really have a "trunk" its a hatch back . But i will have the blow down tube and from what I have read that will allow me to be fine until i hit 10s

here's the plan. Build a sub box that. has a bracket holder for the bottle. Mount two 10's on either side of the bottle and mount the bottle so the bottle neck comes out of the box. Put the amp in between the subs. This way its ported for more bass and looks cool. lol I dunno

actually do it like this. bottle on top with sealed box. use rubber grommits to screw the map in so it isnt rattled to death.
