Im gonna be using a CT26 turbo to boost my LS motor and I was wondering where I can get a turbo manifold that would work for that. And also the turbo already has an internal wastegate and I was wondering if i could use an external wastegate instead but would i have to mess with getting a new wastegate actuator for the internal wastegate. Thanx sorry if the last part got confusing.:D

BMCrace.com might make a t3 to that turbo adapter plate.

in order to use teh external gate, you would need to weld the internal gates flap shut

you'll pay 100-150 for a ct26, personally on a 4 cyl I think a ct26 will be pointless, unless the car is pushing out some kick ass power. its a huge turbo.

a ct26 isn't that big at all. it came stock on the 3s-gte (i should know, i own 2).

if you're having trouble finding one, let me know. i've got one laying around that i am trying to get rid of.

you might have to find yourself a plate and either make it yourself, or have someone make you a manifold.

why do you want to go external wastegate? the wastegate on the ct26 is just fine for the amount of boost the turbo is made for. and it takes nearly ALL of the headeache out of piping it.

and FYI there are TWO different turbine inlet patterns and THREE different downpipe patterns, so knowing which ct26 you have is a MUST.

Are you crazy? Yes it is. Bigger then should be on a civic with a basic turbo setup.

I've had two at my house at one point. I know how big they are. I had it next to my .42/.48 and it was like 2 times bigger.

Turbo Comp. Inducer Comp. Exducer Turbine Minor Turbine Major
3SGTE CT26 1.574" 2.559" 1.97" 2.36"
T3 - 45Trim 1.595" 2.367" 1.898" 2.319"

those specs came off of alltrac.net. i'm not sure on the t3 specs, they also came off of alltrac.net, so someone correct me if i'm wrong.

either way, i wouldn't call that too large for a 4 banger.
