CTR Tail Lights vs 99-00 tail lights

what is the difference between the ctr hatchback tail lights and the 99-00 tail lights? they look the same to me, except the price is drasticlly different. anybody care to discuss the difference? maybe even provide a few pictures? thanks.

not sure if there is a difference unless there is some kind of lighting difference but...

from whut ive heard and read its only the reflector that the usdm ones have as 2 the ctr they dont have em.

It's just the reflector difference. Don't quote me on this... but there might have been a chance that at least SOME EDM CTR taillights have a socket for the rear fog. After talking with Eran we think it'd be more likely to come on the Type Rx models since it's kind of a "luxury" option. Some other EDM 6G Civic hatches do have rear foglights built into the taillights though.

I can ask... but I'm not at all sure yet. Don't forget that if you got them... you need the button too. Now don't anyone get any hopes up either. I don't usually source parts and I'm not trying to set anyone up to be a European importer. so don't think this is going to turn into any business.

I think it'd be a really interesting mod myself, but I'm sure a lot of other people would say get the "real" rear fog.

Hey, you tell me if you find one of those '96-'98 EDM upper grills with the big H though, okay? I only figured out the emblem itself is $40 new... which I might want to do.. but iunno yet.

I think it's funny that people think that rear fog that goes in your bumper is oem....it isn't, right?

Well, I'd like the entire grill. I know the the H is removable though and the design of it makes me think it might not look very good used, but I'm not sure yet. I just know we keep finding '99-'00 grills and none for my year.

The one in the bumper goes on 4th gens and Raybrig also makes another one (actually I think those are one and the same). I know Raybrig makes other lighting for Hondas, but they're not stock on 6G Civics, 5G Civics, or 3G Integras at least though (from what I understand). I knwo they don't look like they belong on any of those cars, ad generally Honda is pretty particular about the design.

EDM 4th gens came with rear fogs. even the low model ones. accrding to my UK brochure

Yeah, we were talking about the ones fitted inside the taillight housing/ So far I"m used to seeing the ones that fit in the bumper. Del Sols also have ones that fit next to the license plate.

nope 4g dont come with them in the tail lights, NEVER seen then on 4th gens, in CRXs as oneof the reverse lights.

of course, a del sol is a CRX

yeah EDM models came with rear fogs, the also had some in the bumpers. some models.
