Cup holder cd install (factory placement for 96-98 civics....I think)

OK looking at getting a new cd player and was wanting to put it in the lower portion of the center console (right in front of cup holders) but I am wanting to put this in a 99 model civic. Where can I find one of these cup holder cd install kits? here is a picture of what i am talking about

You just need the 96-98 cupholders and bracket that is right around it and you can install it just fine:

since my car is a 98, it came with it. Hit up your local junkyard or even post up a wanted thread here. I know some people just have them kicking around.

ok I just did a "search" and on honda-tech they just installed the head unit into the existing spot with the self supplied cage that came with the head unit and used to screws to mount it. would this work ?

just go the the junkyard and get the brackets and faceplate. i had an etxra one from when i got a pocket to replace the OEM cd player that was down there but i couldnt find it again when i looked in the summer. it cost me like $5 for the whole thing and its alot easier then putting together a ghetto rig

you need the 96-98 cup holder to do it, you can't do it with the 99-00 in the thread on ht you never told them you don't have a 96-98 they just assumed.

^^^ yes dude...theyve told u that like 5 times already. the one on ht is also a 96 hatch...hence he/she already had the cup holders needed.

well i have scrolled up and down this over and over and have yet to see where they have told me "five times" only once was cup holders AND bracket and once more JUST cup holders!!
