Custom Steering wheel help 96-00

I am about to install a after market wheel on my ek and have a fair good knowledge on how to put it on and everything, but the question I have is, since my airbag on my drivers side will be disabled, will the passenger bag be disabled 2?

Umm... don't know...? Isn't the air bag control module with the passenger side airbag? I really don't know bro. My best guess is that the passenger side would still work.

No it will not work. The SRS module will not detect the missing air bag and will store a DTC and the SRS light will turn on, and that keeps both air bags from inflating in case of an accident.

yeah. might as well get an air bag delete tray and get some weight reduction cause it wont work.

i would rather have a rad steering wheel than airbags...

my car didnt come with them anyway.

i had an aftermarket wheel in my 96 hatch and the passenger side airbag Did infact go off on me when i hit another car so the answer is Yes it will go off!
