As are your 17in rims...seriously, If I were to have used something lighter/thinner, I'd never be able to place anything heavy on it. Weight reduction means nothing for daily driving. It's not bolted down to the floor so I take it out when I go the track or auto-x. It's not to hard to make either, just take some measurements with your back seat out, draw a template on some cardboard and cut/testfit until it fits snug. That's pretty much the key to getting it to fit right without having to bolt it down. I used MDF hardboard and speakerbox carpet. Good luck.j_fukin_t said:looks like a nice weight addition, i'd use some thin paneling if your gonna do that
Nah...I just give everyone the same reply: "Measure, cut, testfit, cut, testfit, cut, fit".cgpEJ6 said:gabe, i think everyone that see's this ask's you for detailed instructions. must get a little old
as the reason i'm getting rid of them, thats why i suggested THIN paneling like they used on older homesgabebauman said:As are your 17in rims...seriously, If I were to have used something lighter/thinner, I'd never be able to place anything heavy on it. And if I set something like: My tool box or jack on it, it would definately break. Use whatever you wish...I'm only stating the reason for the weight/thickness of material I used.j_fukin_t said:THIN paneling like they used on older homes
