Hey guys, im about to assemble my turbo setup this weekend and was wondering if anyone had any helpful pointers and tips to help things go smoothly? im planning on running 8psi on the stock internals, nothing crazy enough to give me a little rush. Im kinda nervouse about the oil lines and running the vacume lines alos. Oh and also if you guys have picturs of your builds id like to see them to get some visuals in my mind. all help is appreacheated.

Thanks Bobby.

first off, never make psi a goal. 10 psi on a small turbo is not the same as 10 psi on a big turbo. make your goal a hp number. oil and vac lines are easy. search around. most of your questions have already been aswered

pointers from me..
-take your time
-dont rush the installation
-you'll run into problems so dont have a set time limit
-always double check your work such; check for leaks in oil lines, vacuum lines, couplers
-make sure you have all the parts you need or you'll be running back and forth to the store and they'll think you are stealing something cause you walked in like 5 times(personal experience:evil:)

check out this thread from honda-tech..it might give you a little more of a heads up throughout the links

for oil lines i recommend steel braided ones that are meant for the set up.. www.fast-turbo.com should have what you need

to me it sounds as though your rushing it and getting overwhelmed by all this info

to give you an idea i have a 300whp turbo d16y8 and it took me 1 year of constant research to decide what i wanted to do and have a solid game plan. then i slowly started buying stuff in December and the car rolled off the dyno in April...I took my time and the setup is everything i could have wanted it to be and more...SUPER reliable and amazingly clean...i also had to only do it once and not constantly changing stuff...

my advice is to put your project off for abit and do more research...
