Would a D series power steering pump function on a B series motor swap? I took this civic on trade and the D series PS pump is still attached. Just needs the bolt that tightens/loosens the belt. Could i just slap a belt on there and would it work?

Correct me if im wrong but i believe not all the fittings are the same ob1 differs from obd 2 except for integra obd2 and the pumps vary too. You will also need the b series bracket. Need more info like kind of b series??? d series???
wellits a 97 civic (odb2 if im correct) with a 98 ITR swap (obd2 also right?). there is a bracket for the PS pump. but im wondering if i could use the D series pump or woul di need to get a B series one? the way i see it is, if i can use the D series pump thats there, then all i need is a belt the tension bolt and PS fluid.
so its not a common thing done or attempted? hmmm
