D15 turbo.

I have a spare D15b6 engine laying in the garage.
I have it all apart and I would like to turbo it to achieve close to the 200-240 hp range.
I'm in the process of getting forged internals but I can't find them anywhere.
I'm looking to get new rods, pistons, bearings etc.
Is there anyone in here that has any information on a D15 ENGINE internal setup.
Can someone verify if I can swap a z6 head to the D15 block, I heard is possible.

Yeah you can swap any D series head/block with another...although you'll need a vtec ecu to run vtec.

To fit D16 rods in a D15 engine you need to have a the D15b vtec crankshaft or else its too long, is that true?

Crower makes d15 rods, they are $700. Idk anyone else who makes them. But everyone makes 1.6L rods.

700 dollar rods arnt worth it. s**t, we dont even pay that much for BME aluminum rods for 1000+ whp b series set ups.

OP- hit me up with a pm, i can tell you some places to get rods for your motor without breaking the bank

it will cost me 700 to get vitara pistons and eagle H rods for my D16y8 with the bearings and rings etc. But that's my only car to commute back and forth so I can't take it apart

Even if you buy eagle rods and vitara pistons by themselves not in a kit, you are looking around 500-600 bucks. Unless if you can find them cheaper.
