d15b in 98 civic wiring

hey....so i was trying to look around for a thread on this swap but i couldnt find one. I have a d15b thats going into the 98 civic. Im getting confused on what exactly should be swapped over. The intake mani, distributor and alternator so far is what im guessing. However do i use the d16 injectors? just take the whole rail? should i stick with my d16 ecu (p2p) or find a po8 or p28? and im trying to use the original wiring harness from the d16 ...im not sure what to do ive hit a stump. And if i stick with the original d16 harness what should i do about the knock sensor and the crank sensor? and would i need the crank pulley and the timing belt from the d16 too? AHHH...any help at this point would be appreciated...thank you

Well the info you've given is sorta s**t. What type of D16? Y7 or Y8? If it's not VTEC then you need a new ECU. And I believe all D-series have the same 240cc stock injectors, and since the intake mani's are swappable, that means the fuel rail is too. Most of the SOHC d stuff is interchangeable, look around and you'll find a list somewhere of what replacement parts work with some of those JDM motors. I'm not going to find it for you tho ;)

Thanks for the reply...ino it was a delayed response. I think i figured it out.... It took me a while but i did get it. I will be attempting to start it for the first time tommorow night. So i used the obd2 ecu and swapped over everything. Crankshaft sensor, timing gear, intake mani, left the distributor but re-wired it, alternator, power steering pump, and i built the housing for the knock sensor and JB welded it to the block. The only thing i have left, i wish i could upload the picture but im not sure how without putting it on a URL. There is a bracket in between the intake manifold and the block. Its two metal lines that are welded together. So there are 4 ports in total. The one side goes from the valve cover to the intake im using. The other side goes from the passenger side back of the head (i believe) its hard to tell. And on the other side of that its got an open port. From what i can see all the other lines are hooked up and i dont see any open ports? any ideas what that could be?

and by the way, it was a d16y8 from a 98 civic coupe. The motor thats going in is just a jdm d15b ! again i apologize for the late response...im working a ton of hours and spending every waking hour putting this motor back together...
