D15b swap - car is sputtering (sounds similar to a motorcycle) lol

Just put a d15b in my car. (92-95 obd-1 motor). I kept it obd-2 and swapped everything over (and i mean everything). The clutch is sllipping, not a big deal but i thought i would add in everything thats happening to the car. When you start the car it runs but sometimes likes to quickly shut off as soon as you start it. Which is weird because the old motor did the exact same thing. But if you dont seriously let the clutch out slowly and start moving in first slowly the car wants to sputter. When it sputters it has no power and sounds like a friggin motorcycle. If you let it out slowly it seems to be okay. When the car is at idle the rpm bounce pretty durasticly. It bounces from 500-2000rpms and wants to die. Even when your just sitting at idle and rev the car up it does the same thing. Any ideas? i was thinking somewhere around the spark plug wires, spark plugs, distributor issues but not exactly sure. I am almost 100 percent sure it was timed correctly. It doesnt seem like it could be a timing issue because if you let the clutch out slowly it goes fine. open to anything. thanks guys
