D15b7 v-tec into 96 DX: What wire harness?

i have a 96 dx that i was gonna put a 95 d15b7 v-tech in it i have everything i need except the wiring harness so i called a guy i knew that sales parts for honda and acura and he was saying that im goin to have problems finding one for this motor but a d16z6 wiring harness might work does anyone know if it wood and if not where can i get a harness that wood

If your D15b7 has VTEC, then it may have a head swapped from a D16Z6. This may be the reason that your friend suggested a D16Z6 wire harness.

Any harness will work. You'll just have to add in Vtec. And, theres no such thing as a D15b7 Vtec. Its either JDM D15b, or D16z6 for 5th Gen Civic's. D16y8 for 6th Gens....

Don't forget VTEC-E! D15Z1 and D16Y5 in the 5th Gen VX and 6th Gen HX respectively.
