Hello guys Im from Peru and I have a Honda Civic american version from 1995 d15b7. I wanna sell this car and buy a civic eg or ek with b16a engine or d16, but I've heard that their crankshaft are weak, like they are not solid but empty. I wanna ask you if this is true and if a natural aspirated engine could break it's crankshaft that easy, please help!

Just because you posted in the wrong section doesn't mean you can't get an answer to your question. This thread can be moved.

But I've never heard anything about d16's or b16's crankshafts being weak. I've had two d16's and never had a problem with the crankshaft. I know multiple people with d16's and b16's and they've never had a problem with the crank.

The cranks are forged and need very little if any machining on a stock setup.
